Tryouts

PARENTS AND PLAYERS: Please make sure you double-check the date, time and place of the tryout(s) for your age-group by visiting this page often in the next several weeks. Should there be any changes, this web page will be THE source to go by. Please bookmark it.

During tryouts, players will be evaluated on individual skill level and the demonstrated ability to participate as a team player in game situations. Participation on a prior years team does not guarantee a position on this years team. Teams are based on age appropriateness, not school grade level. In order to be rated and placed on a team, all players must attend both tryout dates (U10 and above) for their age group. SSC strives to place all players who attend a tryout on a team but placement can't be guaranteed. For more information about the tryout process, check out our Tryouts FAQ's Page.

NOTES 1. Tryouts for the U15+ age groups cannot be held until the High School Fall Soccer season ends, so the applicable information will not be available until early November. Please check this webpage periodically.

3. Players, if at all possible, please wear a white t-shirt to tryouts so that there is no confusion with pinnies.

4. Be prepared...bring plenty of water marked with your name, layers such as long sleeve under armour is a good idea, gloves and hats for those really cold days and bring a soccer ball marked with your name in case extras are needed.

5. THE CONCESSION STAND WILL BE OPEN FOR MOST TRYOUTS.
